Grown in the Piedmont region of Italy, Acquerello® has been grown, aged, whitened and packaged on the same family farm known for its fertile land and rich water source since the 16th century. It’s considered “the ultimate rice” because the rough unhusked rice is aged to perfection for at least 1 year before it’s slowly whitened with an exclusive method and finally restored with its most precious element, the embryo or “germ”.
