About Crab Apple Mostarda

Paola, the owner of Casa Forcello, makes this awesome mostarda by sourcing locally harvested fruit from Montova (Emilia Romagna), slicing and candying them in their juices, then adding concentrated, spicy mustard oil. The labor intensive process results in a final product that is very flavorful, fresh and chunky. To be paired with cheese, roasted meats or charcuterie!
Ingredients: crab apple, sugar, lemon, mustard essence.
