“We have a dream”, says Swiss Husband and Wife team Maria Mayer and Martin Bienerth. Their dream is to continue to sustain the humble village dairy land they share with their cultivating neighbors. In tribute to that sentiment they named this cheese Andeerer Traum, meaning “Dream of Andeer”. Following the traditional means of raising animals and only using locally sourced product insufficiently expresses what goes into making this World Cheese Cup Gold Medal Winner. Home made cheese caves, starter cultures, and a unique recipe all help this cheese knock your socks right off.
