About Pomegranate Molasses

Cortas’ Pomegranate Molasses is made by reducing the juice of a tart variety of pomegranate sourced from Lebanon’s agriculturally rich Bekaa Valley. The result is a deep-red, thick and viscous fruity reduction that has an intoxicating aroma and wonderful contrasting flavors of sweet and tart, with just the right amount of acidity. Essential to many Mediterranean-style cuisines, Pomegranate Molasses can be utilized in any kitchen to add depth and complexity to a dish. Wisk it into a salad dressing, brush onto meats as a glaze, drizzle over roasted vegetables or use as a mixer in a cocktail!
