Deer Creek Cheese was born in 2006, starting with just two cheeses in their lineup. Founder Chris Gentine’s goal was to highlight traditional Wisconsin cheesemaking and the incredible terroir of the lush green pastures of the largest dairy state in the country. The collection has expanded to include handmade and hand-selected cheeses from some of the state’s master cheesemakers. All the cheese makes start with fresh milk, salt, enzymes and cultures, and as Chris likes to say, a touch of whimsy! Unique ingredients like Elderflower liqueur and Madagascar Bourbon vanilla bean are added to create a truly exceptional sensory experience.
