About Grenache Vinegar

Boulou’s Grenache Vinegar grapes are grown in one of the most highly regarded and ancient viticultural regions of the world, the Penedés province of Catalonia. Although Grenache is currently grown in many regions of the world, Spain is its known origin and a strict Designation of Origin (DO) system is in place to assure the highest quality fruit. Must is utilized from the wine making process to produce this Grenache Vinegar, which is aged in French oak barrels and blended using a 5 year solera. The result is a heady, fruity, low acid vinegar with a tawny color and distinct flavors of spice, berry and white pepper.
