Quesos Navarro
Mexico
Quesos Navarro began in 1961 when Alberto Navarro and Soledad González converted their ice factory in Tepatitlán into a milk storage and sales business. In 1968 they adapted their facilities for cheese production and began making cheddar. Three generations later, the company is still family owned. Alberto and Soledad’s grandchildren have pushed production toward traditional Mexican cheeses that honor the 400 years of cheesemaking history in Jalisco.
Today, Quesos Navarro is committed to keeping Mexico's cheesemaking heritage alive, and implementing sustainable practices (like solar energy) while doing it. In 2019, Quesos Navarro began exporting into the US, and in 2025 we began working with them. They are still the only cheeses we work with that are actually made in Mexico.
