“Do you carry a good Tuna?” Chef’s ask us all the time. Yes, we sell the BEST! It may not be cheap, but it’s worth every penny. For over a 100 years, Callipo, based in Calabria, has used Yellowfin Tuna exclusively, characterized by its tender, compact, lean and light rose colored flesh. The tuna first goes thru a steaming process which maintains the nutritional characteristics of the fish. It is then carefully cleaned, sliced, and matured for a minimum of one year to ensure its fragrance before it is packed in olive oil. Delicious on its own or on a salad, sandwich etc…
