There is no batch of cheese that comes through NYD that has not been specifically evaluated and selected for its flavor profile, which is why the cheeses that we get from them are so consistently impressive. 

Every so often, NYD reaches out to offer us first crack at an “exceptional batch” of something. Sometimes these are especially great batches of the cheeses we already stock, but often they are other amazing cheeses we don’t normally keep on hand. The “exceptional batch” cheeses are one-time buys, so they are not reflected on the website.
